Dittrick Museum of Medical History

Officially The Dittrick Museum of Medical History is part of the Dittrick Medical History Center of the College of Arts and Sciences of Case Western Reserve University. The History Center is dedicated to the study of the history of medicine with a collection of artifacts, archives and images. It was established in 1898 and now functions as a study center.

And it's cool, real cool.

A lot of people find it a humorous place as it houses a large collection of contraceptives over the years. But it's so much more than that. Diagnostic equipment going back 150 years. A Doctor's office from 1870. Surgical Kits going back to our first Surgeons. A Dentist Office and a Pharmacy from different periods of time. Rows and rows of Doctor's equipment going back until the 1800s. It's fascinating. Even of the first X-Ray Machines.
